1. Specific Goals during the term
- To recruit new members and set up new clubs
- To design sustainable projects and set service goals
- To make sure meetings are efficient and productive
- To conduct service projects that are likely to appeal to younger members
- Be open to the new ideas of younger members
- To encourage younger members to get involved
- To strengthen connection and bonding amongst districts in the Region
- To strengthen partnership between YMCAs and Clubs.
- To organize 87th Regional Convention from 22nd to 24th May 2020 in Macao SAR
2. Measures to be taken to achieve the above mentioned goals
- Sustain or increase its membership base, say for example chartering a new club with young professionals as charter club members.
- cause to implement district-wide/region-wide successful projects that address the needs of the community
- Support YMCA campaigns through both program participation and sponsorship/donations
- Develop young/capable leaders capable of serving in Y’s Men beyond the club’s and district’s level
- Enhance public image of Y’s Men through for example social media
3. Achievements Made
- Y Service Club of Lumbini (HK District), a new club, was chartered on 12 October 2019 in Nepal with 15 charter members. This club is sponsored by Y’s Men’s Club of Island East.
- Y's Men and Women's Club of Kathmandu Valley (SMIT District), a new club, was chartered on 19 September 2019 in Nepal with 16 charter members. This club is sponsored by Y’s Men’s Club of Chiangmai.
- Clubs in the Region have taken part and met the 100 days’ Membership campaign, the first worldwide membership and new club extension campaign.
- Organising committee meetings for 87th Regional Convention has been held.
