1. Preamble and Background
- Theme - Be the Wind, Be the Light
- Sub theme - To stay spiritually rich and be radiant
Through activities to serve community and others in need, we can enrich our heart and enhance fellowship with people of the same mind set. This is the significance and value of being a Y’s member. However, if you pursue fellowship only just to maintain the organization, that act will lead to the loss of the essence of the Y’s Movement. I would like each member to realize that collective effort of service in Y’sdom will achieve more than what each member can achieve individually. Though each club or each member is in different and diversified environment, it is important to share the common ideas as Y’s Men and Ladies while acknowledging differences and respecting the excellence of each club and member. I would like to implement measures to have each member realize the importance of working together as an organization.
2. Challenges - International Project Contribution/deliverables
- The Japan West Region has adopted a project named the “New-Born Y’sdom” Campaign. This is to increase the number of the region to 2,022 in the year of 2022 by utilizing the diversity and uniqueness of each district. I would like to work closely with this campaign to pursue my goal to have each member understand his role in the organization.
- Following are my goals:
- Membership: increase 100 members in the first semester
- Extension: charter 2 clubs
- ASF:CHF 18 per member
- BE: Publish 3 issues of the regional bulletin and 12 issues of the RD Nesletters.
- BF: CHF 13 per member (cash and stams)
- CS: CHF 13 per member
- EF: Total of CHF 3000
- LT: To hold the region’s DGE and RSD leadership training and CPE and DSD training
- RBM: CHF5 per member
- TOF: CHF 12 per member
- YES: CHF4 per member
3. Immediate Action
By studying what kind of service our society acturally needs, I will plan and set goals. Some activities related to SDGs might be useful to serve social needs and such activities will help members achieve the purpose of Y’sdom as well as deepen fellowship to share spiritual richness.
