1. Your expectations to make a difference during Nov.~Jan.2022 -Update on Progress

Due to the pandemic in Taiwan Region recently, some activity plans have been affected, we continue to work hard to serve the community. Some district and club meetings will be changed to online conferencing.

Below are the results of Regional Activities on the end of the first half year:

Bulletin Editor: 2 issues of Taiwan Y’sdom, 2 issues of Chinese version of YMI World

CS Achievements:

1. Anti-epidemic Mask Donation - North District in July.

2. Donate one million yen to Atami glory Club for mudslide Disaster in Japan - North District in July.

3. Donate COVID-19 positive pressure fast screening kiosk - North District in July.

4. Adopt a park maintenance - North District in July.

5. Held a community baseball training camp - North District in August.

6. Donation to Elementary School Orchestra - Central District in August.

7. Changhwa Elderly Care Center Charity Sale activity - Central District in September.

8. Three on Three's basketball game for Anti-drug activity - North District in September.

9. Concern disabled people and Community activity - Center District in Nov.

10. Donate Scholarship to school - North and Center District in Nov.-Dec.

11. Donate money to disabled people - North, Center and South District in Dec.

12. Haircutting service for disadvantaged minority activity - South District in Dec.

13. Charity Bazaar activity - With YMCA of Taichung - Center District in Dec.

14. Volunteer for Taipei Marathon - North District in Dec.

15. Blood donation activity - Whole Region. 

YMI Week4Waste Project - The YMC of Taipei-Bridges, Taichung Ever Nice and Kaohsiung - These three clubs hold joint DBC meeting and implement the YMI Week4Waste Project to clean-up community. They hold a beach cleanup event in Kaohsiung in Dec.

LTOD Achievement:

North District: held a virtual Leadership Training on the 7th of August.

Central District: held an on-site Leadership Training on the 25th of September.

South District: held a virtual Leadership Training on the 21st of August. 

The 100th anniversary

1. The YMI 100th anniversary celebration will be held in Taipei on 15-17 November 2022.

2. Taiwan Regional office will produce the 100th anniversary promotion flag for use in various meetings and activities by clubs, and participate in publicity together.
