1. Your expectations to make a difference during Nov.~Jan.2022 -Update on Progress

As appointed by AP Ohno Ben san/AEOs as PRIAC (Philippine Region Interim Administration Committee), we were mandated to do the following:

  1. To create harmony among members of the region & encourage members to participate in regional meetings and activities & strengthen the region.

2. Share 1 or 2 Key Activities that have made/will make a difference

  1. Successfully conducted the Philippine 70th Regional Convention with the election of the RDE (2021-2022)
  2. helping the victims from the outcome of the Category 5 Typhoon Odette damaging the southern part of the Philippines, especially in the Municipality of Siargo, Mindanao
  3. Aside from the NDERF USD$5,000.00 support provided by the Area for this “Odette Typhoon” project, the Philippine Region Leaders & Membership came forward with a strong support of Php 624,750.00 (US$12,250.00 )

3. Step taken to-date to achieve Goals and Key Target 2021/2022

  1. Continuous communication through consultation & trainings with regional leaders & members for the strengthening process of the Philippine Y’sdom.

4. Challenges

  1. pro-actively moving forward amidst negative actions of the suspended RD and the IPRD expelled by his club.
  2. to assist and guide the newly elected RDE in the strengthening of the region

5. Your region’s efforts and activities toward the 100th anniversary

  1. if travel permits, we will organize a group to visit and attend the 100th Anniversary celebration in Taiwan; otherwise, we will encourage more participation if it is thru virtual means
