Extension and membership conservation remains a key priority of the Area. As the year-end period is a time when everyone is in a celebratory mood, not many activities are expected in promoting extension.

2. Share 1 or 2 Key Activities that have made/will make a difference

There are not many reported physical activities since the FQCM in Nov 2021.  A follow-up email was sent to RDs requesting an update on the Regions' progress in EMC activities and goals.

3. Step taken to-date to achieve Goals and Key Target 2021/2022

1. Responses from RDs and RSDs reaffirm their commitment to extension and membership conservation.

2. All Regions remain optimistic in achieving their goals despite the challenges of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic that has reulted in restrictions being imposed on face-to-face meetings.

        3. A summary of the goals for the chartering of new clubs this year by Region are as follows:

REGION AU     JER JWR PHP SEA SLK TWN TOTAL

5. Additional Comments, if any

The resrtrictions imposed by governments on physica activities have affected club activiities and efforts on extension as most meetings could only be conducted online.  Orientation sessions for new charter members have thus been hampered and club charters delayed.
