Youth Representative
The past few months, we had no activities because of covid-19 but we had been working on preparing and planning for AYC2021 by online meeting. Since the AYC would be hold in Tainan City in Taiwan, some youth and I visited the city three months ago to see if there was a good place that met our expectation and also within our budget. At the meantime, we also prepared a backup plan if youth can’t travel to Taiwan due to covid-19. What the difference between this AYC and past AYC was that we planned to invite youth who did not know about Y’s Men to the convention, and then we would invite them to our club meeting after the convention. That was the way we planned to promote Y’s Men. Unfortunately, we stopped all the preparation and plans 1.5 months ago since the pandemic has been getting worse. However, we’ve learnt a lot form all these preparation, meeting, discussion and planning stuffs, and everyone was a good team-player. That’s what matters.
