Area President
1. Share what you consider to be the achievements/highlights of the Region and the Area
1. Taiwan Region was entrusted to host YMI's Centennial Celebration event in Taiwan, the date was scheduled on between Nov. 15-17, 2022.
I was elected as Host Committee Chair and we (I and Teammates) worked almost 25 times of preliminary meetings in overe 460 days hard
works to mke it go through successfully which finally was postponed to March 9-12, 2023 as affected by the Covid-19 seriousness as
noticed. There were 262 overseas YM participants from 20 countries and about 260 local attendees, the Venue at Grand Hyatt, Taipei.
2. To make fundraising for YMI RBM we did a RBM Golf on March 09 at Taipei Golf Club with 60 players, we hosted a Welcome Dinner for golf
players and YMI leaders who arrived one day earlier at this night in the meanntime we award them with winner trophies/souviners and raise
d about US$5,000/ for RBM project donation.
3. Before 100th YMI anniversary as held as mentioned above, I did promotion tour to visit Tokyo-Osaka-Kyoto- Kobe-Manila-Taipei and met
many of YMI leaders/advisers/ASDs/CPs who extended their best to participate above event, thanks to their full support.
4. I visited once Manila for their 71th Regional Convention in May 20, 2023, 89th SEA Regional Convention in Bangkok in May 26-27, Greetings
to Japan East Regional Convention on June 03- 04, 2023 , attended Taiwan Regional Convention in person in June 04, 2023, attended Japan
West Regional Convention in Kumamoto in June 10-11, 2023, plus will further visit Sri Lanka RC on June 24, 2023.
2. Membership and Financial Target & Achievement (as may be applicable)
The decisive figure was yet announced by IHQ's statistics, we expected to reach 10% increase for each item by the hardwork of different
Regional Directors in the Area, but I believe it can be positively growing than the past years.
3. Outline specific objectives/actions you are proposing for 2023-24
1. Actively supporting our IP Mr.Ulrik Lauridsen and his IEOs for strenghten the expansion and Brand image of YMI.
2. To support the great mission of LTOD service project by ISD/ASD Messrs. Rita Hettiarachchi.
3. To support the development of ASP Area led by APE Keiko Tonegawa san
4. To classify the essence and its role of world Menettes Clubs.
4. Indicate topics needing Area or International attention
1. To recognize the importance of "ＨARMONY and PEACE" against a pubic organization like ours.
2. Based on "Love and Respect" we are the one who are volunteer to work Loving Service to the world. forget personal interests therein.
