1. Share what you consider to be the achievements/highlights of the Region and the Area

- Presentation about ASF in the SEA Regional Training under the leadership of RD Joan Wong on 11 September 2021.

- The ASF Leaders Meeting with APs and ASDs-ASF was held on 23 October by Zoom under the leadership of ISD-ASF Hiro Tanaka, which I participated in.

- The information on ASF was disseminated to members by the AP Letter in November 2021, the month of emphasis of ASF.

- Also the information on ASF was shared by RDs, ASDs and others at the LTOD Workshop 14 on December 11.

*The correct amount for Japan East Region is 30% of the stated amount in the table. This correction will also result in a correction of the ASP Total amount.

3. Outline specific objectives/actions you are proposing for 2022-23

- Guidance on the importance and necessity of ASF.

- To share any new information about ASF with everyone and to deepen our understanding.

- To meet the monetary goals set by AP.

4. Indicate topics needing Area or International attention

- If there is any new information, we want to share it as soon as possible.

5. Additional Comments, if any

- As for the relationship between the ASP Area and the YMCA, the Area does not collect ASF, but it has been financially supporting the Advanced Studies Program of Asia and Pacific Alliance of YMCA (APAY) from its operating account.

- As to the relationship between Y’s Men’s Club and YMCA, I appreciate that many clubs support their local YMCA(s) with their own financial support in addition to the programmed contribution ASF.
