Website Development Task Force
After exstensive work by the taskforce the Asia Pacific website has finally been launched for members to use. The addres is https://www.ysmen.asia/
There are still questions to be answered such as,
Who will continue to administer the site?
Who will be responsible for input of reports etc. siminlar to what is required now?
Now that the site is live what will happen to the old site?
Decisions on what to do about activating the online payments process contained as part of the website need to be made by the Area Executive
A link for the Digital Achives to allow access for clubs will need to be created and who is able to access the Archives will need to be decided.
The above are all Area Level decisions that need to be decided and acted on.
As the Asia Pacific Area website is now operational I would urge each Region in the Asia Pacific Area to ensure that the link to the site be made available to all members of their respective Regions.
As Task Force Chair for development of the Asia Pacific Area I have recommended final Payment for the development and activation of the website. Payment of the account presented for the work in development of the website should be made.
As taskforce chair I would like to thank all those whom have been involved in the development of content, design of the site and enabling the site to become active.
Over the time of development of the website there were a number of people whom were involved in it's development specifically IPAP/ICM David Lua, Desmond Lee, Andy Cheong, Andy Fu and Paul Lim.
To the others whom were involved in different ways thank you as well.
My role as Task Force Chair is now complete. The task force has now completed it's role to develop and launch a website for the Asia Pacific Area of Y Service International.
I hope the Area continues to use and build on the work of the Taskforce.
