1. Share what you consider to be the achievements/highlights of the Region and the Area

  1. Regional Convention (Jan. 16, 2022, 10AM) – action output
    1. the Revised Constitution and By-Laws of the Y’s Men Philippine Region, is approved;
    2. the Ratification of the Revised Constitution and By-Laws of the Manila Bay District of the Y’s Men Philippine Region, is approved;
    3. Election of RDE & Officers for the YY 2022-2023, whose term will start on July, 2022;
  2. Submitted to ASP Area the Approved & Amended Regional & Manila Bay District Constitution & By-Laws;
  3. Continuous regular meeting of PRIAC and with regional council members;
  4. providing continuous assistance to the RDE towards productive governance;
  5. Successful execution of Typhoon Odette Rehabilitation; providing adequate tools for building process in the Municipality of Siargao Island, in Mindanao island, benefitting 8,441 families from 20 Barangays of Siargao Island;
  6. Successful conduct of an inter-agency Week4Waste Environmental Cleanup Activity with Y’s Men Philippine Region as the lead. Aside from the Y’s Men’s Clubs of the Philippine Region and YMCAs of the Manila Bay Region, other participating agencies are as follows: Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Department of Public Services (DPS), Harley Owners Group (HOG) Wheeltek Cavite Chapter, Philippine Air Force Civil Military Operations Group (PAF-CMOG) and 1st Air Reserve Center, Admiral Hotel, Carlos P. Garcia and E. Rodriguez Vocational High School, and other teacher’s groups, barangays and police. Also with the team up of official blogger of DENR, Mr. Marlon Ocampo and Youtuber KUYARON TV, the event has a live coverage in Japan, USA, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Australia, Canada, Alaska, Switzerland and other countries. 2. Membership and Financial Targets & Achievements(as may be applicable)

  1. Membership increase from 154 (Feb. 2021) to 184 (Feb. 2022);
  2. Encouraging response from members for International Program Contributions as well as Typhoon Odette Fundraising;
  3. Supported the Area with more than 10 recipes submitted for the YMI Centennial Celebrations Cultural Heritage Cookbook Competition;
  4. Supporting the Area Songfest for the Centennial Project with several songs submitted.
