Special notes from the East-West RDs' Exchange meeting:

Okinawa Prefecture, within the geographical area of Japan East Region, had Okinawa Club and Okinawa-Naha Club as of June 2021.

However, both clubs have disbanded, and there are no Y's Men's Club there. There is a movement to establish new clubs in Okinawa in both Regions.

Even undecided, in consideration of the future, The Japan East and West Regions made adjustments and reached a consensus to add Okinawa Prefecture to the Japan West Region area and make Okinawa Prefecture the geographical area of both Regions.

While the Standing Committee of Japan East Region approved it in December, the Japan West Region needed to amend its Article of Incorporation, which was approved at the 3rd meeting for the Regional Board of Directors. Therefore, we would like to hold a special Delegate Meeting in the next term to complete the procedures for the amendment to the Article of Incoporation. At the same time, we also consider it necessary to amend the Constitution of the ASP Area.
