1. Share what you consider to be the achievements/highlights of the Region and the Area
- Given that the Covid Pandemic has had a huge impact on Clubs in the Australian Region we still managed to maintain the Region and connectivity between clubs.
Zoom has been a huge help in maintaining communications across the Region. Also the regular Area meetings via zoom has I think improved the communication between all the Regions.
2. Membership and Financial Targets & Achievements (as may be applicable)
- Given that most Clubs had their fund raising stopped due to restriction with Covid we were still able to contribute to all programs and projects for Y Service International.
A total of CHF Swiss francs 5250 was contributed . The majority of clubs in the Australian Region contributed to Programs and Projects. All clubs paid the dues for International, Area and Region.
Membership is a significant concern and will be the main target for improvement in 2021-2022
3. Outline specific objectives/actions you are proposing for 2021/22
- The Region Executive is planning a major push for membership in 2021-2022. Some preliminary planning has begun with this.
