Jennifer Jones, Chair of Constitution Review Task Force of Asia Pacific Area 2020-2021
1. Share what you consider to be the achievements/highlights of the Region and the Area
- The team for this task force including IPIP Jennifer Jones (Chair), AP David Lua, PIP John Choa, IPAP Hiroyuki Tanaka, APE Ben Tsutsomo, PAP Tung-ming Hsiao, PAP Rita Hettiarachichi, AS Keiko Tonegawa, ASE Maeda Translator, worked steadily and diligently over this past year to complete the task that we were given, in reviewing the current Constitution of Area Asia Pacific.
- The drafts of the new documents, ASP Constitution and ASP Constitutional Guidelines, were revised a number of times with excellent suggestions for rewording, additional text and possible documents to be included in the Appendices.
- The Townhall Meeting organised by AP David Lua, proved to be a very useful meeting to guage the feeling of those attending in relation to the documents presented. Useful information was taken away and some rewriting took place before final completion.
- The documents have now been circulated to members of the Area council for their approval before circulating the information to clubs in the Area for their approval.

- Regions in the Area are encouraged to have a closer look at their constitutions and see where improvements could be made.
- Past leaders in the Area are good sources of support for Regional Directors if needed.
