1. Share what you consider to be the achievements/highlights of the Region and the Area

  1. The CoVid-19 pandemic presented Regions, Districts and Clubs the necessity to explore meetings and training online and allowing maximum people to participate.  With knowledge and skills flavoured with inspiration, there were more Clubs chartered and with Membership Growth.

2. Membership and Financial Targets & Achievements (as may be applicable)

  1.  As we review the reports from RDs, most would have met their targets and achieved satisfactory results, especially among the S.E. Asia countries.

3. Outline specific objectives/actions you are proposing for 2021/22

  1. The next ASD-EMC should continue emphasis on Club leaders training and extensive members orientation with promotion presentations in various ways to family, friends, neighbours and colleagues.  Also, to consult with APAY, local YMCAs to cultivate healthy relationship, through mutual support and membership promotion, start new Clubs for YMCAs with no Clubs, as was done in Myanmar.  The continuing challenge is to seek good connection in cities and towns that have no Clubs.

4.

Indicate topics needing Area or International attention  Timeframe

5. Additional Comments, if any

  1. Good leadership is key at every level - Well informed, regular communication/meetings, encouraging and inspiring, creating good co-operation and healthy atmosphere.  Leaders and Members with good relationship contribute to willing hearts and hands.  Create new Clubs with new DNA and common interests to meet the objectives of various sectors of society who are willing to come together to participate in service to the less fortunate and those afflicted by circumstances.
