1. Reports on your progress toward your goals (activities from July to October)

  1. The progress is good on extension and keep track with AP's goal.

    * two clubs are scheduled to charter on Nov 19, 2022 & Jan 28, 2023 respectively
  2. An EMC Session was organized on September 23, 2022 on ZOOM which shared the importance of EMC, past membership figures, Challenge 22 promotion.  Thank you so much to All AEOs, ASD-LTOD Rita, ASD-YES Tomoya, ASD-YL Kohei and all RDs/representatives for helping organizing this event and share YES fund, YMCA Liaison and successful EMC cases.  The event was well received with total of 57 participants.
  3. An article on EMC was written in Area 1st Bulletin 2022/23 

2. Reports on your plans (October to February 2023)

  1. To continue promote Challenge 22 and follow up with the progress on EMC from Region.  

3. Challenges you feel you are facing in carrying out the assignment (if any)

  1. The major challenge is only one communication channel (by email) with RDs. Not all RDs have responses on the progress of EMC.        

4. What can the Area help you with (if any)

  1. Monthly /Bi-Monthly meeting with RDs definitely help for understanding the need or difficulties of RDs on EMC .
  2. Propose Area to establish Area Awards for the membership growth and extension.   

5. Items you would like to see discussed at ACM (if any)
