FQCM Report for 2022-2023

Community Service

Report Date: 15 Jan 2023
Monina Umali Calingasan, ASD-CS of Asia Pacific Area 2022-2023

1. Reports on your progress toward your goals (activities from July to October)

  1. In spite of the covid situation of the 7 Regions, everyone is motivated and immediately responded for their reports to be submitted.

2. Reports on your plans (October to February 2023)

  1. Encourage active participation especially in widely  collaborative projects.

  2. Boost morale and strengthen team cohesiveness and spirit in showcasing their vision and mission through their projects.

There are Regions actively submitted their community service project report. But infairness to all regions, giving them the benefit of the doubt, they just submitted their report prior to Nov.4, 2022 meeting because thats the only time they have projects to report. Last August area mtg, prior to this date, the Y's Year just started for their term.

  3. Encourage active participation within 5 or more members of the club to strengthen cooperation and camaraderie, as well as boost initiative and leadership. Sometimes, leaders are born thru active participations and their contributions are being acknowlwdge by doing community service.

  4. Will continue to encourage and mention that posting their high and meaningful projects earlier is a great advantage for their Region to be included in our Area Bulletine because it's one of the best tool, which I believe, in increasing membership because yiu have something to show them, the legitimacy and seriousness of your Club's advocacy. With this, you can also invite and activate inactive members as well.

3. Challenges you feel you are facing in carrying out the assignment (if any)

  1. I am not that techy enough for me to easily post the project reports of different region.

  2. I got covid last  week of October 2022, which affected the posting of my reports and not being able to attend our Nov.4 meeting.  My covid situatuon that time is just mild. Fever last only for 5 days, mild cough and cold BUT a terrible bodyaches and headache. I could not stand or even seat because of dizziness.  Free from covid around mid of November 2022 but I got back to my work 3rd week of december because I easily get tired, I feel so weak that until now I'm battling on it.

4. What can the Area help you with (if any)

kindly encourage ASP Regions to include pictures in their community service project report to  make it more memorable and better in showcasing their goals and advocacy.

5. Items you would like to see discussed at ACM (if any)

  1. None

6. Other comments (if any)

  1. Because, most members of this non-profit organizaton, Y's Men's Club joined to genuinely serve, lead, share and uphold the duties and resposibilities of a leader  in the community, it is essential that we do not steer away from the very reason why we are all here, continuously shedding blood, sweat and tears to lend a helping hand and bring hopr and change to people's lives.

  2. Let us continue to honor and respect the hard work and genuine service eacg project every Y's Men seeks to contribute.

7. Reports from each region
