1. Your expectations to make a difference during Jul.-Oct.?-Update on Progress

"Week4Waste" is a continuous project all year round while allocating a day or a week for picking up litters, clean-up our environment and help our mother earth. This project can be done by an individual Y's Men's club, district, region or a joint project with other NGOs

2. Step taken to-date to achieve Goals and Key Target 2021/2022

Sending out leaflets and brochures for dissemination about the project with YMI global suggested target days for Week4Waste is April 2-9, 2022.

3. Share 1 or 2 Key Activities that have made/will make a difference

Tea Plantation clean-up drive by the Y's Menettes of Taiwan Region, clean-up drive done by RAHA Philippines with local barangay units and clean-up of several streets and subway station area among others by Japan West Region.

4. Challenges

1. to inspire regions to come up with more W4W activities from their districts and clubs;

2. to do outdoor activities, like W4W is a big challenge to some regions still under strict compliance of regulations from government due to        pandemic

5. Additional Comments, if any

W4W activity is one the ways volunteers work together to show and educate other community members, both young and old, to change their attitudes and not to throw garbage or litter in nature and surroundings
