ACM Report for 2022-2023

Area President Elect

Report Date: 20 Aug 2022
Tonegawa Keiko, APE of Asia Pacific Area 2022-2023

1. How do you work with AP for a better achievement of ASP Area targets?

I believe my great responsibility is to assist AP in achieving his plans and goals. I will work closely with the AEOs through the established communication platform.

Supporting RDs and ASDs to achieve their goals is vital in attaining the Area's goals. I will keep in close contact with them to guide and lead their performance.

2. Your Goals and Targets in the first and second half semesters separately

In the first semester, I will monitor, encourage, guide, and lead the RDs and ASDs to assist them in achieving their goals.

While doing so, I will identify the Area's challenges and try to help AP find a measure to address the challenges.

In the second semester, I will list ASD candidates to promote the continuity of implementing measures to strengthen the Area.

3. The constructively helpful activities/projects for AREA to consider?

The solar power project with the Makati YMCA has successfully promoted the YMI-YMCA partnership, enhancing YMI's presence in the community and amplifying Area's financial status. Social enterprise is one of the new paths for us to pursue to establish a stable financial position.

4. Challenges and Topics for next 100 years YMI

YMI adopted Strategy 2032, a blueprint for the next ten (10) years. The plan stipulates significant goals and emphasizes three service areas; Health, Education, and Environment.  If all the Areas, Regions, and Clubs work together to achieve the goals, I am sure YMI will be a prominent service organization worldwide.

5. Additional Comments, if any

It is my great honor to serve as APE this year, and I would like to ask for your assistance and cooperation through the journey to assume Presidency next year.
