1. How to work your Theme & Slogan into your Region while making your team a difference from the past with a better accomplishment
Australia does not currently have a theme of slogan. We continue to advertise any theme and slogan set at Area level.
2. Goals and Targets for 2022/2023
- We continue to enhance existing relationships with local YMCAs and explore avenues for the establishment of relationships that do not currently exist.
- We establish a budget that includes donations to international programs within the financial positions of individual Clubs.
- Reinvigorate the establishment of a new Club in New Zealand.
- Continue to investigate the establishment of a Club in each capital city in Australia.
3. Key Activities and Plans
Covid has had a marked impact on Club meetings and activities.
- Continue to conduct Zoom meetings with Club Presidents/Secretaries on a regular basis (quarterly minimum).
- Continue the direct communication with individual members.
- Enhance the relationship with the new Y Ladies RDs.
4. Challenges & Topics for Discussion
The Clubs in Australia are aging and consequently, the number of projects that are being undertaken and reducing.
- Attracting more, and younger members continues to be a challenge.
