ACM Report for 2022-2023

Community Service

Report Date: 26 Aug 2022
Monina Umali Calingasan, ASD-CS of Asia Pacific Area 2022-2023

1. You are the best and recommended as ASD; how do you work with AP for a better achievement of ASP Area targets?

  1. I will prioritize the goals of AP to achieve regarding the Community Projects for the area and disseminate the information to all the Region.
  2. Communicate regularly with the AP, ASDs, RDs, and RSD-CSs.

2. Your Goals and Targets in the first and second half semesters separately

  1. Being able to share the Community Service Report Projects of those reporting Regions to others for their information and adaptation if applicable.
  2. Encourage active participation especially in widely collaborative projects.
  3. Boost morale and strengthen team cohesiveness and spirit through showcasing their vision and mission through their projects.
  4. Will continue to encourage and mention that posting their high and meaningful projects earlier is a great advantage for their Region to be included in our Area Bulletin because it's one of the best tool in increasing membership because you have something to show them, the legitimacy and seriousness of your Club's advocacy. With this, you can also invite and activate inactive members as well.

3. The constructively helpful activities/projects for AREA to consider?

  1. Although these may fall under other ASDs, I still consider Heal the World"Heal as One", W4W, Environmental Cleaning and Green Activities are best to consider as part of the Community Service activities.

4. Challenges and Topics for next 100 years YMI

  1. Community Service Projects like Saving Mother Earth.
  2. Helping the needy out of poverty.
  3. Conitnue to monitor the status of "End Malaria" program especially in urgent areas of need.
  4. Raise awareness about important causes and timely issues such as Bullying, inequality and discrimination.

5. Additional Comments, if any

  1. Because, most members of this non-profit organization, Y's Mens Club, joined to genuinely serve, lead, share, and uphold the duties and responsibilities of a leader in the community, it is essential that we do not steer away from the very reasons why we are all here, continuously shedding blood, sweat, and tears to lend a helping hand and bring hope and change to people's lives.
  2. Let us continue to honor and respect the hard work and genuine service each project of every Y's Men seeks to contribute.
