Area Development Committee
1. Your expectations to make a difference during the term 2021-22
The Area Development Committee was established by a Motion approved at ACM 2020. Members comprise Past Area Presidents and Past International Council Members of the ASP Area. AP(2020-21) David Lua was elected to be the Chairperson by consensus. Members were appointed for a three-year term to 30 Jun 2023. The Committee met four (4) times since its constitution in January 2021 to consider the terms of reference which are:
- To identify and strategize the holistic development of the Area;
- To explore avenues and seek sources of funds for sustainable development;
- To propose guidelines for good governance.
2. Goals and Key Targets 2021-22
1. To identify potential leaders for succession planning in consultation with the AEOs.
2. To assist the AYDC in youth empowerment and development.
3. To follow through the Area Centennial Project launched with Makati YMCA.
3. Key Activities 2021-22
1. Convene quarterly ADC Meetings.
4. Challenges
The success of the ADC depends to a large extent on the readiness in the sharing of ideas by AEOs and RDs.

The Committee's work straddles across a wide spectrum of the Area's activities.
